This policy explains what personal data HomeOption collects, why and for how long we keep it, who we share it with and what rights you have. It applies to the website homeoption.eu and to all our contacts with you: by phone, email, WhatsApp, Viber, Telegram, Messenger and Instagram.

We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to. Please send any question about this policy to the email above.

2. What data we collect

We do not buy data from other companies and do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18.

3. Why we process it and on what legal basis

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing and do not carry out profiling with legal effects for you.

4. Who we share your data with

We share data only as far as needed for the purposes above:

Companies that process data on our behalf: website hosting (SuperHosting.BG, Bulgaria); the server of our client management system (Hetzner Online, Germany); database and email (Google); notifications of new enquiries (Telegram); newsletter delivery (Resend); statistics and advertising (Google, Meta, Microsoft Clarity).
The other party to the transaction and those involved in it: seller or buyer, notary, bank or credit intermediary (only if you want a mortgage), partner agency in a joint sale.
Public authorities, where the law requires it: the National Revenue Agency, the State Agency for National Security (anti-money laundering), courts.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Transfers outside the European Union

Some of the providers in section 4 (Google, Meta, Microsoft, Telegram, Resend) may process data outside the EU. Such transfers are made under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long we keep your data

After these periods we delete or anonymise the data.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small files the website stores in your browser. Strictly necessary cookies are always set because the site cannot work without them. All others are set only if you allow them in the banner. You can change your choice at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

You have the right:

to have it corrected if it is wrong;
to have it erased where we have no legal obligation to keep it;
to request restriction of processing;
to receive your data in a portable format;
to object to processing based on legitimate interest, including emails with offers;
to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before that.

If you believe we are infringing your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection: 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd., Sofia 1592, www.cpdp.bg, or with the data protection authority in your EU country.

9. Security

Only the staff and partners working on your enquiry have access to your data. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), password-protected accounts and regular backups.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page, with the date of the last change at the top.
